STARTLINE BURSARY
In partnership with Tailfin
Since our founding, we have been actively working to help increase diversity in the bikepacking industry and would love to see more people from under-represented groups to join us at our event. Over the past four years through the Startline Bursary, we have been able to support 20 people attend our events, increasing diversity and representation.
The bursary is designed to help enable access to bikepacking events for more people from under-represented backgrounds. To qualify for the bursary, you need to be from an under-represented group in bikepacking and would otherwise not be able to afford to come to our events. Under-represented groups in bikepacking include but are not limited to: women, ethnic minorities, non-binary, transgender. If you feel you are from an under-represented group, but do not fall into one of these groups, please write to us.
Successful bursary applicants will receive a cash contribution towards travel and accommodation expenses, covered by Tailfin. Also L’esperit del Bikepacking offer a free place entry to El Piri, and Follow My Challenge give free tracking during the event.
To maximise the impact of the bursary, we are looking for applications from people within Europe.
